This is an interesting glimpse into the mind of Ron Williams. The very sight of a 1950's housewife on a devotional was such a danger that it had to be removed and destroyed. These young women needed skills to survive and thrive outside Hephzibah House, instead they were filled with fear of even the most normal and benign things.
